Description
What if life makes a little more sense when you stop rushing through it – and start learning to see it differently?
So This Is Life is a seven-day journey through friendship, loneliness, faith, expectations, meaning, connection, failure, and becoming.
But beneath the stories is a bigger question: how much of what we call “life” is actually shaped by the way we’ve learned to see it?
We don’t experience life from a blank page. We see it through frames shaped by where we’ve been, what we’ve experienced, the people who raised us, the things we’ve learned, the disappointments we’ve carried, and the beliefs we’ve built along the way. The same situation can mean completely different things to two people simply because they are looking at it from different places.
This book invites you to challenge that frame.
Through ordinary moments – deadlines, friendships, church mornings, unfinished work, lonely rooms, conversations, temptation, laughter, and failure – it explores how we interpret ourselves, other people, and the world around us.
You may agree. You may disagree. You may recognise yourself. You may even find yourself questioning something you thought you already understood.
Because perhaps understanding life isn’t only about finding better answers.
Maybe it starts with learning to look again.
Seven days.
Different rooms.
Different perspectives.
A small journey through a week.
A quiet attempt to understand this thing we call life.
