A talented singer-songwriter, Mercy Atis gained fame in 2020 with her hit song I Don’t Wanna Know, I Don’t Give a Damn, which was played across Africa, featured on international platforms, and used in over one million TikTok videos. Her story of deportation has garnered over 10 million views on social media and featured on platforms such as Tuko, NTV Citizen TV, and more.

Now back in Kenya, Mercy Atis is a single mother of two boys and a passionate advocate for social change. She dreams of founding a nonprofit to help prisoners reintegrate into society and support those unable to pay small fines or bail.
