Felix Owaga Okatch was born in February 1954 at King George VI Hospital Nairobi. He is the first child to the late Peter Okatch (1925-1968) and Grace Okatch (1930-2008).

Felix started his schooling at Nsambya in Kampala, later Nyawara Primary School, completed high school education at Sawagongo and Kisii High Schools, for *O” levels and ‘A’ levels respectively.

He eventually joined University of Nairobi and obtained a B. Comm (Hons) degree. He holds an MBA and PhD.

In the past he served as marketing manager in several multinational Corporations. At corporate level he served as President of Rotary Club of Westlands Nairobi, in the board of Kenya Reinsurance Corporation, Council member at Karatina University, Chairman at Association of Professional Societies in East Africa (APSEA) and he is now referred to as Emeritus Chairman.

Currently he serves as vice chairman at Outward Bound Trust (K) and chairman of OKATCH Foundation.

In recognition of his distinguished and outstanding services rendered to the Nation in various capacities and responsibilities, His Excellency Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, President and Commander – in – Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces conferred him with state Honour of Elder of the Burning Spear (BBS) in December 2021.
