Description
When Ella married the handsome, celebrated artist Sebastian Montclair at just nineteen she was madly in love, and never could have imagined how their marriage end in disaster. They are now separated in every way but distance – Sebastian lives in the barn across the lawn from Ella’s ramshackle farmhouse.
With an ex-husband living under her nose and a home crowded by hostile teenagers, gender-confused chickens – not to mention her hypercritical mother whose own marriage slips spectacularly off the rails – Ella hopes to find comfort in the company of the very charming gardener, Ludo. But dating is tricky, to say the least.
When, out of the blue Sebastian decides to move out, and head back to the city, Ella is forced to face her true feelings about him, and wonder if she is really ready to finally end their marriage.
How much longer can she hide from what really destroyed their relationship . . . and the secret she continues to keep?
